The flexible headbands are soft and will adjust to your heads’ shape; the two ends are made of flexible plastic and do allow two separate mounting positions:
These plastic adapters are not as soft as we have noted with the SteelSeries replaceable headbands and it is a little difficult to remove them, but installation can be performed in a couple of seconds:
The WiFi dongle does come with a black plastic chassis and a small blue LED does signal that the connection is active:
There are no other inscriptions present on the back:
ALYA does incorporate a light chassis made from good quality plastic, for a total of just about 300 grams! It comes with two color options (black and white) and combines different finishing options on the cups(piano black around the cups and textured plastic on the exterior):
On the left cup, we will find the Microphone mute switch, along with the Volume wheel:
Moving on, we will observe the Power button, the Status LED indicator, the 3.5mm Stereo port but also the USB-C charging port:
The same cup does house the microphone port with a custom layout in order not to allow a wrong positioning:
In the frontal area we will note a RGB-enabled segment which will only show a static effect:
The right cup preserves the same design, minus the interfaces:
