SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Gaming Headset Review

Compared to the previous Arctis models, the Nova 3 seemed lighter as soon as we have started wearing it, while keeping a high comfort level. After adjusting the settings with our preferences via the Engine module, we started listening to several music videos on YouTube, vlogs but also watched some TV shows; the sound is great regarding lows, mids, while the crisp highs allow voices to be optimally rendered. Regarding games, we did play Forza Horizon 5 where car engines were a joy to listen, along with the nice soundtrack which complements the experience; in Warframe, the sound of the weapons were well represented, along with the screams of despair when slaying foes.

Mixer volumes can be adjusted in the first tab, including the ChatMix feature:

The same tab does contain Spatial Audio configuration, Gain slider but also the Smart Volume filter adjustment area:

The Chat area has different presets for applying the desired filter:

Here we do have a custom EQ as well; we do have other options as well such as ClearCast Noise Cancellation:

Besides Noise Cancellation for the microphone, we can also access the Noise Reduction, Smart Voice and Noise Gate filters:
