The mainstream Viper Steel 2666MHz kit does trade punches in terms of performance with the Silicon Power model and was proven to provide a really stable system during the intensive benchmarks. The lower CAS latency does not seem to make a very big difference because in the case of laptops we do not have a lot of flexibility for configuration and all is dependent on how the manufacturer BIOS was written.
