Patriot P300 M.2 PCIe Gen 3 x4 1TB SSD Review

Storage/SSD by stefan @ 2020-09-28

Even if the P300 is a DRAMless implementation with the Silicon Motion 4-channel SM2263XT, the drive supports Host Memory Buffer and coupled with the pseudo-SLC caching in the NAND ICs, we do get decent performance while writing continuously to the drive, in many cases exceeding the performance we would get with a mechanical drive. The performance will vary depending on the system you are using the drive on and the 1TB version of the P300 comes with rating of 320TB TBW.
