CORSAIR SCIMITAR RGB ELITE MMO/MOBA Gaming Mouse Review

In order to try out the new SCIMITAR RGB ELITE, we fired up Grim Dawn, TERA but also StarCraft II; after positioning the Key Slider Control system to our liking, the 12-button assembly was easily accessible for accessing our macros. We could work with the spells/actions faster than accessing the keyboard keys and during this time the mouse shape did really help as well regarding comfort. For other game types such as FPS we would go though with lighter mice though, since this model weights about 122g without the cable.

Next, we do have the DPI setting button, where the user can customize the values, but also the colors for each step:

In the Performance area, we can enable Angle Snapping, the Lift height but also Enable pointer precision:

A Surface Calibration menu is offered for adapting the sensor to the currently used pad:

Finally, we do have the Settings area for the iCUE, where we can set the Polling rate, the LED brightness, clear the device onboard memory but also perform firmware updates (when necessary):
