CORSAIR VOID RGB ELITE Wireless Gaming Headset Review

Audio/Others by stefan @ 2019-10-23

VOID RGB ELITE Wireless is an incremental update over the VOID PRO Wireless, which features enhanced drivers of the same size, but also a better microphone that is now Discord certified as well. The headset chassis is the same as the previous iteration and we really confirm the claims regarding its durability since we did use the VOID PRO Wireless daily since its release and still operates like new.

Packaging, A Closer Look Part I

Just recently, CORSAIR did a pretty consistent refresh of their entire line of headsets; today we are going to look upon the VOID RGB ELITE Wireless, that was built on the base of the already successful VOID PRO series, launched back in 2017. The wireless model can be bought in either carbon or white color schemes and it ships in a medium-sized cardboard enclosure; right from the top area of the packaging, we will learn that the product is compatible with PCs but also with Playstation 4 consoles:

On the side of the box, we will get to see the “Never miss a beat” saying:

The product highlights are listed in the back, together with the technical specifications, in multiple languages:

After removing the top packaging layer, we will end up with an all-yellow box, which is sealed on a side:

By lifting the cover, we will get to see the main product sitting in the middle, secured by some additional cardboard material:

Here we will also find some documentation, but also the product bundle:

As we have seen before with the VOID PRO RGB Wireless, the white version of the ELITE does come with black accents as well and is quite lightweight at 390 grams:
