Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2016-10-03

The CHERRY MW 2310 was clearly not thought for high-end gamers, but occasional gaming and plenty of office work is fully doable; we get an infrared sensor which resolution up to 2000 DPI, wireless 2.4GHz technology, incredible battery life, the possibility to use the product with only one battery at a time, symmetrical design for ambidextrous usage but also two programmable buttons via the supplied software.

Conclusive Thoughts

The CHERRY MW 2310 was clearly not thought for high-end gamers, but occasional gaming and plenty of office work is fully doable; we get an infrared sensor which resolution up to 2000 DPI, wireless 2.4GHz technology, incredible battery life, the possibility to use the product with only one battery at a time, symmetrical design for ambidextrous usage but also two programmable buttons via the supplied software.

While the mouse does have an On-Off switch on its bottom layer, the product is also entering energy-saving mode if it is not moved for 0.2 seconds, and it is being able to wake up really quickly since we did not detect any lags while using it for office work.

We did really like that the manufacturer has went with standard AA-type batteries and not something proprietary, so when the initial ones are depleted, we can easily go to a store and purchase an affordable replacement for many more hours of usage.

This mainstream product does come with a low-end mouse price of just about 12.7 Euros, making it affordable for anyone out there.
