MSI Z170A Xpower Gaming Titanium Edition Motherboard Review

Today the MSI Z170A Xpower Gaming Titanium Edition has arrived, looking astonishing in this new PCB coating.

All the new features like dual M.2, USB 3.1 gen 1, USB 3.1 gen 2, Nahimic audio enhancer and a game boost knob plus separate OC panel. Wow this is one bad boy!

Looking Closer

Back panel I/O ports including from left to right:

 

1 x Mouse/Keyboards PS2 port combined plus 2 x USB 2.0 ports mostly used by mouse and keyboards.

From left to right we find 4 normal SATA 6GB/s connectors and 6 SATAe connectors plus USB 3.1 Gen 1 front connector:

4 times DDR4 DIMM slots on top plus connectors for ATX power and OC-panel plus V-Check points. 

Power plus reset switches plus a OC-knob, will be explained and tested later in this review

PCI-E slots 4 times in total with 2 metal covered slots for the use of the extra big and heavy graphics cards.

Front audio connector and system fan connector, followed by POST LEDs plus the PCIe Ceasefire Switches and Hotkey Main switch:

Above the first PCIe slot we see a extra power connector if u use more graphics cards:
