Crucial BX100 250GB SSD Review

Storage/SSD by stefan @ 2015-09-02

With the BX100 we have another very good product for the price which is able to sport very good read speeds and decent writes for the 250GB model, while the 500GB and 1TB versions have even higher rating write speeds. For conserving the costs, the manufacturer has used an aluminum chassis with no screws, but the build is high quality and the internal PCB is kept steady and secure inside. While BX100 does come initially in a 7mm format, we are getting a free spacer with adhesive in order to able to mount it on more systems.

With the BX100 we have another very good product for the price which is able to sport very good read speeds and decent writes for the 250GB model, while the 500GB and 1TB versions have even higher rating write speeds. For added value, we are also getting a free Acronis True Image HD license in order to be able to transfer the data from the old drive with ease.

Again, the pricing is quite unreal for what we have offered: the tested model, 250GB capacity version can be found online for about 87 Euros. If we need more storage capacity, we could always go for the 500GB version which is now available for about 171 Euros and if money is not a problem we can choose the 1TB straight for 335 Euros.
