Edifier Tick Tock Bluetooth Review

Audio/Others by stefan @ 2014-12-10

Do not be deceived by the mousy look of the retro Edifier Tick Tock Bluetooth retro alarm clock; thanks to the dual drivers, it is able to produce decent quality sound without distortions and at pretty high volumes. The bass is a little on the low side which is perfectly understandable but considering the overall size of the device, we cannot consider this as a negative point.

A Closer Look Part III

The rounded screen is able to display quite a bit of information at once, including the current FM band, day of the week or the time with current second:

When on a specific frequency, we will be also shown the receiving power of the station:

In the configuration stage, we will be also prompted to enter up the year, current day and month:

We can also define multiple alarms; when these are triggered, our favorite station will start playing:

We can also set the sleep counter:

After an alarm has been set, an additional pictogram will appear on the screen:

Before searching and storing our favorite stations, we will be able to select the regional frequencies, by choosing between multiple areas:

Bluetooth pairing can be done in a snap and in this mode we will be shown the current volume level along with the Bluetooth logo:

If we choose to have an auxiliary sound source, a different pictogram will appear on the screen, also along with the volume level:
