Cooler Master CM Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2013-01-17

The CM Storm Trigger keyboard from Cooler Master can be ordered in four versions, with both Brown, Black, Red or Blue Cherry MX switches and features red LED lighting for all keys. The intensity of the LEDs can be modified straight from the keys without the need to install the software, but we can also choose a “pulsating” mode, or the ability to have only the frequently used keys for gaming lit like WSAD and arrow keys.

would be interesting to compare the different models with different cherry switches.
I've heard positive news from the green cherry switch, but that one is only available from Coolermaster in a compact lan keyboard (without keypad). Would love to the see a green cherry CM Storm Trigger keyboard!

Indeed, Cherry Green would be quite interesting to test.

It's a nice kbd. I have one with Cherry blacks & I'm very happy with it. You're right, the software is very big for a kbd but luckily Windows installs it's own drivers & it works perfectly. You only need to download the software if you want to use the macro keys. If CM left off the macro keys they could've thrown in a 5v dc adapter & charged the same price. Now wouldn't that be grand...
