The unit also features a small buzzer on the bottom, which operates in case we do not want to be woken up by the Ipod/Iphone, Radio or Custom Playlist:
When turning on the device, we will see that not only the front LCD is on, but also the top buttons have backlight:
Thanks to the large display, we can see the time/date with no issues at all, even from higher distances:
When the Radio is on, we can see the frequency under the current time:
In case we have an Iphone/Ipod connected, we can see “Ipod” written under the current time (in this case I have connected an Iphone 3GS):
When modifying the volume, the screen will show the current volume level with digits:
If we switch from 24 hour time to 12 hour time with the button in the back of the device, we will get a confirmation on the LCD display:
The same, if we modify the DST setting, we will get the confirmation on the LCD screen:
The nice feature that was also present on the iP49 is the ability to synchronize the time/date with our Ipod/Iphone, with only one touch of a button:
If an alarm is set, we will have the pictogram present on the right side of the LCD screen, and the time set on the bottom of the display:
When setting up an alarm, we can specify when it should wake us up: weekdays, weekends or everyday:
The next step is to specify the “wake to” device:
The snooze time can be modified from 1 to 29 minutes (9 minutes setting is default from the factory):
The product comes also with the sleep function, which lets us sleep to our iPhone/Pod or radio, gradually lowering the volume until the unit shuts off at the selected time:
